I'm getting random problems with the text I'm typing taking an age to appear on screen and then when it does it runs slowly like it's being typed in treacle.

Of course, as I'm typing this it's fine and dandy, so is it down to the forum I use or when a window has been open for a long time?

Any thoughts would be appreciated - I closed Safari down and opened it again to type this and I'm using a 2011 mini running Mountain Lion with 8gig RAM, if that helps?

Cheers.

what is plugged into your mini. try unplugging everything possible .

all usb cords, fw800 , t-bolt.

if it is still slow try a usb keyboard just to test. slow keys on a wireless keyboard may get caused by ubs2 and usb3 devices fw800 to t-bolt gear can all cause interference .

If a wired board has a problem you may have a a bad internet connection/router.

Since you are using bluetooth it is hard to tell if the net the site the router are the issue.. or if something interferes with the bluetooth connection of keyboard to mini.

I had the exact same issue yesterday, the keyboard typed extremely slowly. It's gone today though, i restarted my keyboard a couple of times. I also use the mac bluetooth one.
