Hi all,

I'm running a VMWare fusion image from a USB stick (SanDisk 128G) and although most of the time everything is smooth & fast every few minutes the virtual machine freezes and I get a spinning beachball. That lasts for 5-10 seconds and then goes back to normal.

My computer is a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2014)

I checked the console message but cannot find anything useful. Wondering if this is expected/normal behaviour?

Thanks

Can you move the image to the internal drive and try there, then you might rule in/out the SD card. Pretty sure Apple never envisaged running code from the SD slot though so you might be in unknown territory...

Thanks - So, I had the image on the internal drive (SSD) and was working fine but I was running out of space so I moved the imaged to the USB stick
