Hey,

I just updated to Yosemite and noticed decreased Disk speed.

I have Late 2013 rMBP (16 GB Ram, 512 SSD, 2.6 GHz processor). On Mavericks speed was somewhere around 700 Mb/s both for read and write speed. Results on Yosemite are attached below. Write speed is only 346 Mb/s. Does anyone notice that too? Why this happened?

Thanks

I was seeing very slow disk access on my boot drive after installing Yosemite. After I repaired permissions and reset the PRAM, disk access is fairly good. Not as good as Mavericks, but a lot better. YMMV.

Thanks.

I rebooted my computer and then speeds were the same as these on JPamplin's attachment.
