Slowing down an animated GIF

I received a powerpoint presentation from work with an animation showing the range of an insect over time. The animation runs too fast and I would like to slow it down, but I'm not sure where to start. I downloaded a trial of Flash, but I don't know much about it and haven't had any success with it. Any suggestions?

Takes a few seconds in Photoshop under the Animation palette. If you can't be bothered, you could attach the animated GIF to a post here and someone might do it for you.

Now I wouldn't learn anything doing it that way, now would I!
I started off by going back the the original file and import it into Flash. All I needed to do was adjust the frame rate and re-export it. Simple once I figured out I need to go back to the original file rather then copy it out of powerpoint.

Never played around much with most of the graphics software. Now that that's done, I'm going back to something simple like FileMaker Pro databases.
