In a coffee shop.
What is the Pentax in the front? I can't read the name of the actual model. My reason for asking is that my own very first serious SLR camera was a Pentax ME Super, which was a terrific camera, forgiving, robust, yet light.

And - while I really would rather not be critical - but as an actual photograph (which does matter when we are discussing cameras and photography) of a collection of cameras, it is really rather ........challenging - and, frankly, rather difficult, to actually read the precise names of the models.

Most of them, I really am sorry to have to say, are blurred and some are out of focus.

It is a pentax ME not super.
It was my first SLR and I love it still, although digital has almost killed it.
It has not seen use for quite a while sadly.

Yes sorry they not in focus was a snap with a crappy point and shoot camera only for my reference.

I'm happy to get and post full details of cameras and the lens over weekend if interested.

I like to take photos and want to learn more as my knowledge is poor.

My best shot to date was on that Pentax ME.
For record I love Pentax

Sad to say in my digital SLR it gets used in auto mode too often :(

My ME film camera is usually in aperture mode.
but usually in F8 as I don't know my settings

It's not hard to learn. YouTube is friend.
I always shoot in manual these days and doing it is the best way of learning.

Nice grab of cameras there. I have just one SLR left that I keep because it reminds me of when photography wasn't about pixel peeping, or whining about VR, or whining about crazy high ISO numbers etc. I just have a modest Nikon FM2 and one 105 macro lens.

Its hard to believe how little the quality of images have improved given the crap load of technology. I guess "photographer" back then had to know what they were doing to get that special shot. Please be sure, I find there are some truly excellent digital photographers today but most...well...draw your own conclusions.

there are some great photographers then there are good photoshop users.

I like macro shots as quite easy but would like to learn to do landscape shots.

I put hands up and say most mine are taken in auto mode.

better macro photo of the ME

[doublepost=1466969461][/doublepost]I thought I'd add a photo of one of my strange bits of kit.

It has seen use a few times in clubs.
