iPhone Sluggish Apple Maps

I’ve been having a consistent issue with Apple Maps where even when I have fast internet and everything else runs smoothly (wether on WiFi or Cellular), the maps load very very slowly. Satellite view is often the worse, but every single view takes sometimes up to 30s to load anything. Sometimes connected on CarPlay, the CarPlay interface will be as slow, sometimes slower and sometimes it load instantly whereas it still takes forever on my phone. I know my internet is not the issue, cause I can stream 4K HDR without a hitch. Any idea what could be the problem and how to solve it?

N.B. No, I will not switch to Google Maps. I have zero intention of using it, even if you think it is vastly superior.
