sluggish Imac

hey all,

I have a 3-4 month old Imac that is been acting sluggish in the past couple weeks. Any suggestions on to how to remedy this? is there is any software to help clean it up, like what malware bytes does or a PC

Where is it slow? How much RAM does it have? I would try repairing permissions with Disk Utility, it always helps a bit.

4gb of ram, slow/sluggish when launching programs and when loading some youtube videos. ill try the disk utility option
