Forced restart as first suggestion on a running computer system strikes me as silly. This should be a restart. I also don’t pull the power cord out of a running computer each time I have an issue.

Seems randomly fetched from thin air, good to ignore.

If this article is not considered good advice, I’d like to hear suggestions. It’s my iPad, not Mac.

My issue is on my iPad.

I turned off Background Refresh and got a lot of mileage out of that.
Need to find that setting on iOS.

1) regular restart would be my first try
2) clean screen and see if issue persists.
3) try to find a solid way of replicating the issue, then share with the forum for more insight

I’d also give Apple a call, they have multiple ways to reach their support I believe.

The keyboard is more responsive without having background app refresh on? What’s your setup and what OS version are you on?
