Hello,

I am MBP 2017 13 inch owner.

During today's cleaning I have noted very small chip on a black frame area which is not in workspace range.

This chip looks like small speck of dust or a drop of dried saliva. During cleaning I used Fellowes wipes and dry microfibre wipe.

Sample image with chip location:

Does it qualify for replacement? Do you have any chips on your Mac's? Could it be not a chip but permanent cleaning mark?

Awaiting your suggestions.

During the era of butterfly mechanism keyboard, it is fortunate to have cosmetic issues rather than keyboard failure or flexgate issue

1st no because a 2 year old machine is not under warranty anymore
2nd no because cosmetic damage wasn’t even before under warranty;)

Do you have AC+? Otherwise you will have to pay for the repair (probably repair not replacement).

Because it is annoying.
Re-read your title again
Small chip which is visible only under great light and specific angle

I guarantee that you will not forget about it and/or stop noticing it, especially since you can't see it fur normal usage.
