Anyone else finding these print lines on their new Nano/textured iPad Pros from the rubber protectors on the Magic Keyboard?

I find myself cleaning the screen daily just to find them again the next morning after closing the iPad onto the Magic Keyboard.

Not a huge deal, but a tad annoying, and I wonder if it will cause the nano texture to dissolve quicker in these areas.

I put a thin microfiber cloth on the keyboard before closing it, both to minimize potential contacts but also to have the cloth available for use.

I open and close my keyboard case a lot and carry my iPad outside often. So the cloth would’ve been lost quite easily for me. With that being said if I only use my iPad in limited number of places then that’s a great idea.

I haven't noticed this. I'd suggest for you wipe that grease off and the lines won't be noticeable. The old keyboard sometimes left some keyboard marks on my iPad. The new keyboard does not do this either

Appreciate the reply! I have wiped it off a number of times but it reappears - weird. You also have the nano-textured glass?

I don’t, I missed that part. But even then it doesn’t make sense for it to leave a mark on a clean display. Will it leave a mark immediately after cleaning it or after some usage?

All good! Good question - I'd say after being closed to 20 minutes, even right after cleaning, it reappears.

Did you think about cleaning the rubber strip as well? The natural oils from your hands will rub off on them, so you might have much less rub off if you clean the strip as well.

On the cloth idea: it has always prevented the keys to rub against my MacBook screens, but ik open and close my MacBook way less often. And I open the Magic Keyboard often like a book when I want to read on my iPad. The cloth falls out easily that way, gets in a heap etc. So the idea might work really good if you use your iPad like a laptop, but ymmv when you use it in other ways more often.
