Small on board storage using iCloud for additional/backup

Anyone have some good setups, stories about utilizing this? I just recently grabbed the 32GB 9.7 iPad on sale for my wife but will probably get her setup on her own cloud storage. I'm hoping she'll be able to utilize it to load pics from her camera. Have any of you guys had issues once your on board storage fills up with it not wanting to import or anything like that?

I've also been contemplating going the route of one of the iPad Pros but with the 64GB because I already have the 2TB storage option.

I like to use iCloud storage, and in case that’s not enough I have a NAS (WD MyCloud) to take over.

A hell of a cheaper than buying local storage and you can access it anywhere you have a internet connection.

I had a first gen iPad Pro 32gb model and ran out of storage so I switched to ICloud storage and solved my problem, I’m now on a 64gb latest Pro and by using iCloud storage I will never have an issue.
