Small Shipping Question

Hey guys, I have a small question about the shipping of the first international ipad batch.
When it says that they will be shipping on Friday the 28 of May … do they mean that the ipads will be leaving factory OR UPS on the 28 to finally arrive this weekend ?
OR that we will be getting the ipad from UPS this Friday the 28 of May ?

What about you guys in the USA ? Did you get your ipad at home from UPS, Fedex or some other the same day that they said they would be shipping ?

With the original release in the US, the shipments were at the shipper's facility by the shipping date and were released to the purchaser the following day.

If you ordered your iPad before the estimated shipping dates slipped to June 7, then you should get it on the 28th. The original shipping/delivery estimate was "Ships: Delivers by May 28th." Many of the May 28th iPads have already been shipped, and some are just about to, but they should all arrive at homes on or before the 28th.

iPad accessories, on the other hand, said "Ships: By May 28th," so it's not guaranteed that you'll get those by the time you get your iPad.
