Small smilies / emojis in iMessage

Hi all,

is it somehow possible to revert back to the original small smilies / emojis in iMessage.
All over the internet, I find how they are bigger now, but I don't like the new style.
I would much prefer to revert back to the original small smilies.

I cannot find any settings to revert back to the old ones.

My bad eyes don't mind, but boy - did they target asian market with this. Pfff, and teens probably. I really don't like how small the input field is, how many options are listed, and how cluttered chat looks. Even the big white notifications have small icons, I can't tell which app the green blurry thing is from, I never had to look, now I can't recognize it.

I am almost considering to just stick to 9.3.5 for a while. But eh.. yeah.

They go back to being small if you start adding text to the message. Same after the 4th emoji.

No there is no way to change it back to small other than what @Jessica Lares stated
