Just for fun topic - does anyone else other than me wish they made a smaller version of the ultra?

I think most people would take a slimmer version of it, which i'm sure is coming in the near future, but i'm referencing how there is a 46 vs 42 series 11. What if there was a 49 and 45 ultra? and the 45 costs $699? I could see a world where that it would be decently popular because there are a lot of smaller wrists that I bet don't get the ultra just for that reason. It probably wouldn't outsell the 49 because people love big screens but I think it would sell. Ideally though, I look forward to when Apple does make a slimmer ultra. That will be an instant buy for me, even if there were no other features that year. I think the Ultra 4 will get a design change of some sort, but i'm mainly hoping it's a slimmer design!

I'd prefer a smaller one if they made one, but I'm fine with this size if this is all they make. It's been three years now; I'd have thought that they would have made a smaller Ultra by now if they ever were going to.

I've had an Ultra for 3+ years since it was first released and while I'm fine with the size I understand the request for a smaller one.
Thing is, a smaller Iltra would have to meet all the criteria of the current model and I suspect that a smaller case would not allow to maintain the battery life. So until there is new battery technology I doubt that we'll see a smaller version, but then again, I hope I'm wrong ;)

Totally get that. A slightly smaller Ultra would probably appeal to a lot of people with smaller wrists—same features but more wearable. I think Apple will eventually do a slimmer Ultra, maybe in the next generation, and it’d likely sell well even if nothing else changes.

One of the many reasons I find it so frustrating that they gatekeep the best digital watch faces to the ultra is that I don't want a watch that large. The series 11 form factor feels perfect for me.

I don't understand what's up with the watch face situation.
Why don't they have a store for those and the ability for folks to make/sell them?

This is a HUGELY cool aspect of Garmins.

My #1 most desired featured by farrrrr. I love so many Garmin faces and I don't have a single one I like for my S11.

Absolutely!

On my instinct crossover, I use and love a third-party watch face called “hands avoidance”.

My data fields move around to always stay out of the way of the real watch hands.

It’s totally incredible that Garmin themselves never thought to make a watch face like this for this model.

Hazardous? Really? In over 3 years of wearing an Ultra that has never been an issue nor has it even crossed my mind, but whatever
After wearing an AWU2 for about one year my actual AWU3 has as well noticeable sharper housing edges. Not sure if I would call it hazardous, but I preferred the more rounded AWU2 edge design. Could this be a downside of the new „3D printing housing technology“?

Interesting, gotta look at the U3 next time I'm in an Apple Store

Apple does have a feedback form for complaints like this. Maybe one day they'll listen.
