About to make a bootcamp partition, whats the smallest( yet STABLE ) partition one could have for windows, steam, and other very small sized apps?

well the minimum is 5GB, XP is about 1.5, so thats 3.5GB free. Dont know how big Steam is, mind.

trust me thats not enough... xp needs at least 5 gig free to even be stable.. I was just hoping someone who has done the above would know a exact amount of space needed

steam itself is very tiny, so just above the minimum required by xp.
however, any GAMES you install will take up a lot of space. what steam games will you be installing?

It all depends on which games you installed with Steam. My Steam folder is 8GB and I left 10GB for Windoze. So I would say around 15-20GB depending on your games
