I'm working on a mount for my 12.9" iPad Pro and using the lightning port for charging is going to be uglier than I'd like. I know the iPad Pro supports charging with the smart connector, per the Logi BASE.
I'm doubtful it's as easy as stripping off the end of a lightning cable and attaching those wires to the smart connector port, but would love to hear your thoughts. I can't find any information about the smart connector and charging.
