When I fold the iPad Pro smart keyboard to stand with the keyboard hidden in the back, once about every 30 seconds the screen wakes up for a few seconds to the lock screen then goes back to sleep. It is only when it is in the folded position. Is it possible there is a short?

Yeah I've had this exact same issue across two different Smart Keyboards...

Been like this for me since launch. Funny thing is its never drained the battery, but is annoying.

Mine does it with the iPP in "laptop" mode (keyboard out). I thought it was just something with the pencil.

This is happening to me and it is annoying. But I only get it when the keyboard is folded back..

I had this issue and made a Genius Bar appointment last week. He was baffled, and could replicate the issue on my particular iPP and ASK, but not with various combinations of the store demo versions. He ended up ordering me a replacement, and having me sign a document so they could send my ASK to engineering to figure it out.

I picked up my new ASK yesterday, and the problem is gone. Must be a batch (or batches) that have something weird going on with either magnets or the smart connector, maybe?
