So, I received my Smart Keyboard for my coming 10.5" iPP. It's my very first iPP and my very first smart keyboard. I got used to my old 3rd generation iPad with my Logitech keyboard that I have to charge separately. So when I received and opened my new Smart Keyboard I was looking for connections for charging ...... surprise surprise, no charging ports. So I found out that it gets power from the iPad itself, stupid me I should have read the specs when I ordered it hehe.

Anyway, for those who had the first generation Smart Keyboard and iPP - does it drain the iPP power quicker? Is it a battery hog?

Thanks in advance!

Since it uses a hard connection and does not use Bluetooth to connect to the iPad it uses less power.
