Trying to decide whether to buy a Smart Keyboard with the new 10.5".

Those who already have the keyboard for their Pro . . . how do you like it? Does it add a lot of bulk to the iPad? As a cover, is it enough protection? (I have an Apple leather cover on my Air 2 & it's sufficient because I use the iPad primarily at home.) And, do you think it's been worth $150?

Thanks

If you plan to type a lot on your iPad Pro, then it will probably be worth it. It's a bit bulkier than the smart cover, but I find it less bulky than the covers that wrap around the back of the iPad.

I have had the smart keyboard on my 12.9 for over a year and use it everyday. Honestly it's one of the best feeling keyboards I've ever used. I wish it had backlit keys though and the matching backplate was way overpriced for just a piece of silicon. But in the end it's been worth it. It all does add weight though, but to take it in context with the case my 12.9 weighs as much as my old naked ipad 3 (which my wife still uses).

The Smart Keyboard is fantastic. No cracks between keys, great clicks, extremely portable, and NO BLUETOOTH which is great because Bluetooth is a battery hog. I love it with my 9.7" and I totally suggest it.

I've been using the Smart Keyboard on my 12.9" since both were first available and I love it.

I have the ASK for my 12.9 Pro. Absolutely love it. The greatest challenge is getting over the price of it. Ouch.
It doesn't add much bulk... Except for the offset for the keyboard, it is virtually identical to the smartcover. IMO, it is enough protection. I use a thin clear skin on the back to prevent scratches and improve grip. I also have a smartcover so that I can switch off between cover and keyboard depending upon what I intend to do with it.
