I've looked but can't find a solution to this. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

I subscribe to Apple Music. For songs I like, I give them the little 'heart' thing.

I want to create a smart playlist of all my heart'ed songs BUT I don't want it over-represented by bands with lots of heart'ed material. It's probably easiest to explain it with a hypothetical.

Band A - I have hearted 3 songs.
Band B - I have hearted 6 songs.
Band C - I have hearted 75 songs.

If I make a smart playlist of hearted songs it will be consumed with Band C.

So...

What I've tried to do is this.

Smart Playlist A - it contains (1) all songs by Band A (2) that have been hearted (3) but is limited to 3 songs.
Smart Playlist B - it contains (1) all songs by Band B (2) that have been hearted (3) but is limited to 3 songs.
Smart Playlist B - it contains (1) all songs by Band C (2) that have been hearted (3) but is limited to 3 songs.

And then I made:

Master Smart Playlist that includes Smart Playlist A, and Smart Playlist B, and Smart Playlist C.

And then that runs afoul of iTunes, which says if Master Smart Playlist references other smart playlists then Master Smart Playlist can't be used on iOS devices.

So, I guess my question - if anyone is still reading this - is:
(1) Is there a way to have a playlist of all hearted bands that doesn't get over-represented by Band C?
if not
(2) Is there a workaround for having a smart playlist that references other smart playlists that CAN be listened to on iOS?

Thanks so much for reading and any feedback!
