Smart Playlist

Does anybody know if there is a way to make a playlist that will filter through everything in my library and let me know what hasn't already been delegated to a playlist? As my library grows, I feel like I might be missing out on some older music or forgetting about songs that I used to love. Sifting through the library manually would take quite a while...
