So my wife's Macbook Air has disk utility reporting SMART STATUS: Failing.

This is obviously bad, so I'm currently backing it up with Carbon Copy Cloner (do that every week) and running a full Time Machine backup.

What else can I do?

Will Apple replace the drive with no problems?

No good, buddy. They should be able to pop in a new drive quick and easy for you, and you'll be back in no time. At least you had the chance to backup before failure.

Backup completed via Carbon Copy Cloner AND a full time Machine backup AND all important files to the iDisk

Apple Care is replacing it under warranty no questions asked. (And, since I was out of my 90 day phone support, I did pony up the $249 for full Apple Care...this machine I believe it's a safe bet on)

Just will be without the machine a few days.

Thanks everyone!
