Smartest way: Install - Partition - Bootcamp

What's the smartest way to get to this setup:

OS X Snow Leopard, 1 partition for system + apps, 1 partition for data (only OS X), 1 partition for Bootcamp.

Would i have to setup bootcamp first, before OS X DATA Partition? What apps would you recommend for partitioning?

why do you want seperate partition for os and data?

Just use Disk Utility. The order shouldn't matter but IMO there is no reason to have two partitions for OS X. Just remember to have a good backup
