Maybe this is what some of you guys who had questions about how to get your own works onto the iBookstore have been waiting for ?
So far no mention of said deal at the Smashwords press release page, but interesting none the less. Not familiar with Smashwords myself, but from a quick scan of the site it seems authors can get their works out there (after following some formatting guidelines, which are pretty detailed) for no cost and get up to 85% of the money made from the sales.
Worth a punt ? I reckon so !
Edit - Just to make it clear, the 85% is when distributed in other formats, not the iPad, from what the article says. iBookstore works will get you 60% apparently.
