Afaik, both already have such a service (with the NAS acting as cloud server). QNAP Qsync Synology Cloud Station

Sure i can run owncloud/nextcloud on my Qnap, but i don't know if Files support this. But i don't want such a complicated Cloud-based solution. All i want is simple smb support in Files, like in FileExplorer, Goodreader, etc.
