Two days back, I tried to update my Macbook Pro 2019 (Intel chip, T2 chip) with macOS Monterey 12.5.1 (from 12.5). During the installation, it got shut down and didn't power on. I tried many basic techniques to power it on like Power Cycle, reset NVRAM/PRAM, and reset SMC. Nothing helped.

After many hours of (re)search, I found this video (
), and it worked. I revived using another MacBook with the DFU technique (in Apple Configurator). Now, I am able to boot/power on my MacBook using this technique. But, if I try to restart again, I won't turn on.

Also, I am not able to connect my external SSD or monitor (But I am able to charge the MacBook. I tried to reset SMC, but no help.

I am not sure what could be the problem, can someone help me with this?

Hey @gsant1601, now that macOS Big Sur 11.7.1 is out and comes with the new system firmware version 1916.40.8.0.0 (iBridge: 20.16.411.0.0,0), have you been able to resolve your issue?
