Hello,

I have a late 2011 MBP that keeps shutting off randomly. Once it shuts off, it requires me to do an SMC reset to power it back on. Luckily I have another MBP of the same model so I swapped the logic boards to see if that was the problem, it was not.

What I know so far:
-Not a battery issue because the battery is brand new and worked in the other laptop.
-Not a logic board issue because the logic boards work perfectly fine in the other laptop.
-Not a hard drive issue because I replaced them with a new SSD.
-SMC resets allow me to power on the MBP once, then it shuts off during install.
-Holding a key allows the MBP to stay on longer, but shuts off soon after I let go.
-The power button is not getting stuck down.

If you have any idea on what I could do to fix this or have any idea on what is going on, please let me know.

Thanks.
