I updated to iOS 5 and have been very happy with the end product. However, I am no longer receiving any text messages. When I send a text to a non-iOS 5 unit, I get a warning that reads something along the lines of "SMS Mailbox full. Please delete messages to receive texts."

Deleting texts doesn't seem to be a solution, and my mailbox obviously is not full as on occasion, turning off my phone and turning it back on leads to some missed texts being sent. Resetting the network allows for about two or three missed texts to enter the inbox as well.

This isn't an isolated problem. Many people across various forums are experiencing it and I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about it or can offer any solutions.

The only solution given right now is to completely restore your phone "as a new iPhone" and not updating it from backup, thus losing all of your data.

Just trying to get this issue out there and make more people aware of it, to be honest.

Thanks.

No suggestions? It's so distressing especially when I'm working on group projects... Have resorted to Facebook for people to contact me over.
