SMS Recieved iPad Message

Hey!
I'm using a uk sim in my 3G iPad. When I get sent a text message to the number accosiated with the sim in the iPad, a message will quickly flash on screen saying something like "You have a new message" in green writing, and will the disappear again quickly.
Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to just view these sms messages using the iPad?

A piece of software for Jailbroken iPad's may appear in future, but there will be no built in way to view them.

If you don't want them anymore you will need to contact your carrier (O2, Vodafone, Orange, etc.) and ask them to disable Voice and Text services on your account.

If you tell them you are using the SIM in a USB Dongle you should be ok to get this to happen.
