SMS takes more than 30 sec to open

My Iphone 3G has become very slow, the sms icon particularly. It takes 30 sec for it to load and shuffle between sms's. How do I get back to the original speed it opened at?????

You probably have a lot of SMS messages stored in there. My guess is that if you cleared most if it, it should speed up the load time a fair bit.

Just restart your phone. If you start running a lot of apps or don't turn your phone off for awhile it will become sluggish.

Just turn off and turn back on. Should work.
