Hi All,

I was writing an SMS to a friend using the default SMS messages on my iPhone. I sometimes need to make the message more than 3 line, and by doing so the letters start to disappear off the text window.

I want to read back the message and maybe make some changes, but because you can't drop the keyboard you have to run your finger over the text to see everything.

So if I wanted to copy and paste something lower than the test window I cant tap on it. Is there anyway to see long SMS messages in full to edit using the default utility, like hiding the keyboard. Or is SMS limited to just 3 lines long?

If you want to read previous messages, hit Edit and it'll show the previous conversation.
If you want to paste at the bottom of a text you're making that's more than 9 lines long, just then just use your finger to scroll down, then paste. The sms can be 20 plus odd lines afaik.

if you are holding the phone in portrait mine goes to 5 or 6 lines of text before being too much for the screen but if you are on landscape the reason being the screen is TALLER than it is WIDE ... obviously this is why you run into this problem
