SMS touch needs an update in the app store. One problem...i never even bought this app. It just showed up yesterday. I installed the app from Installous, this made the update go away. As soon as i deleted the app, the update showed up in the app store again. This looks like a way to scam people into paying the $4 for the app thinking they are just updating one they already have. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I'm going to assume that when you say you installed it from installous, you did it just to see if it would get rid of the update

as for your question, I would update it, and if you were charged, contact Apple and explain your issue. They should refund you for the purchase (and remove ownership of the app from your account, but that goes without saying)

Yes, i only did that to see if it would help the problem. I am a loyal app store customer, i believe in supporting the developers. Anyone else having this problem yet? I refuse to pay the $4 to buy this thing.
Have you tried to contact iTunes support and ask them to look into your account to see if you own that app ? I suppose that if it appears as an upgrade somewhere in your account there is a reference to that app.
