Hi All,

Is anyone else noticing a lot of key marks/smudges on their M1 MBA's screen? I swear I am cleaning mine every few days. I do transport it, but I don't understand why it's always so dirty. I have been using a RadTech cloth between the keys and screen, which helps with the key marks, but somehow put's smudges on the screen. Does anyone have an actual method to keeping the screen clean? Perhaps I will give a piece of notebook paper in between the keys and screen and see if that helps at all.

I had the same problem, I ended up ordering a screen protector that reduces blue light and its much better. If you are interested I can post a link to the product.

Yes, please do! I am so annoyed with it!

It was new, at first there were no smudges, but it didn't take long and the only thing I used it for was between my keyboard and screen.

Keeping it open probably makes a difference. I use mine open and in clamshell mode depending on where I am. I'm guessing when I go from clamshell to open stuff transfers from external keyboards/trackpads. The screen protector has done wonders for me.

I am going to give the screen protector a try. I will also try a piece of computer paper between the keyboard and screen.

Which silicon keyboard cover do you all use? Does this affect the closing of the lid?
