Snapchats look worse on iPhone 6?

I was sending out some snapchats on my new iPhone 6 earlier today and when I looked through them I thought they looked worse than the ones on my 5S. Am I mistaken? Does it have something to do with Snapchat not updating the app for iPhone 6?

It probably has everything to do with Snapchat not being optimized for the new iPhones. It's kind of ridiculous that such a big app hasn't been updated more than a month after release.
