I have been using Snapz Pro and all Snapz products for the past ten years or more. I like the product and use it mostly to capture videos. Recently upgraded to Catalina 10.15.5. It took a while but the screen capture and photo capture finally started working. However, when I tried to capture a video, Snapz cut my computer off. At first I thought I might have accidentally hit a wrong key. The computer rebooted, but I could not get my mouse or keyboard to function. So, I pushed the on/off button on the back of my computer and it restarted. Afterward, I was able to use my mouse and my keyboard. I tried to capture the video again, and like before the computer shut down. So now, I knew it had to be the Snapz App. I know there are several other capture apps out there and everyone has their favorite, so I'm not looking for a better app. I've tried other screen capture apps, but I like my Snapz as well as anyone likes their app. I don't know how to solve this problem.... unless I purchase the latest version of Snapz Pro X. As much as I like the product, I do not like dealing with the company. When I've had problems in the past they were alway slow to get back to me. I figured I might be able to get a quicker answer if I checked here first. Any help would be appreciated.

Obviously it has not been maintained for years. I find the Catalina build in screen capture is adequate and use QuickTime for capturing video.
