I read this on another forum:

"Snow Leopard will drop PPC support."

What does that mean?

Does it mean the that PPC programs like Office 2004 for the Mac that currently run quite happily on Intel Macs under OS 10.5 won't run on Intel Macs under Snow Leopard?

Snow Leopard will still offer Rosetta as an optional install, which allows PPC programs to run.

While it will allow apps to run under Rosetta, it SL won't run on non-intel macs.
