Hi,
is it possible to change between those OSX on a single Mac Pro?
A friend of mine wants to work with his old Freehand on SL, CS6 on High Sierra and normal tasks on the last OSX.
He has got now: MP 5,1 2010, dual 3,46, PCI NVMe, SSD, HD, 96 GB RAM, RX 480.
Possibility (?): start with option key, choose HD SL and work with Freehand. Then choose other startvolume and work with newer programs.
Hope you understand...

Extremely difficult, see below, or even not possible if you need acceleration with 10.6.8, since no GPU that has acceleration with Snow Leopard works past 10.13.6.

If Freehand can work without acceleration, just with EFI drivers, you can use OpenCore GOP pre-boot configuration support to boot 10.6.8 with a RX 480 unaccelerated, using just the EFI drivers.

If acceleration is required, you will need to use two GPUs, one that work with 10.6.8 and another for macOS releases newer than 10.13.6. This requires a very complicated OC config that disables the newer GPU when booting earlier macOS and vice-versa.

Is using a Virtual Machines an option? This website seems to indicate you can use Freehand within Parallels for example, using a Snow Leopard Virtual Machine http://osxfh.com/. If your friend already owns Freehand, there should be no need pay for this package, and Snow Leopard Server is available on Macintosh Garden, but I'm just sharing to demonstrate that it seems possible to run the software this way.

And of course you can easily create a High Sierra VM as well, to run CS6. Your friend has enough CPU and RAM to run these simultaneously, I would have thought.

Wow, $125 to buy a ready made Parallels config? It has to be really, really good…

While for most people time is not free, maybe a single slot Quadro that can run Snow Leopard accelerated and some OC elbow grease is a better solution.

Once I noticed the price, which seems very high I agree!, I amended my reply to say that I was using that link just to demonstrate that it might be possible to use a Virtual Machine. Especially if the OP's friend is only seeking to use Snow Leopard to run a specific app.
