I just installed Snow Leopard to 10.6.3 and when it restarts it gets stuck on the grey screen with the grey apple and then a black box comes up saying to restart my computer. Computer won't get past this screen. It will boot in safe mode but in regular mode it won't boot normally. Any help??? Thanks!!

Thanks for the reply. I tried that but sill no dice. I've also started up from the install disk and used disk utility to repair the disk but that didn't work either. any other possible fixes or suggestions? thank you!!

Boot in safe mode and go to
/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports

There will be logs of your crashes, upload the most recent one here.

Are you using the retail DVD, or a machine specific one (If machine specific, is it for you machine)?

Edit: Nevermind, it probably would not have let you install it if was for the wrong computer.
