Ok,

So I'm getting the SL when it comes out, do I have to back up everything, or will it install keeping current programs, softawares etc...

You know, I use Logic Pro 8, do I have to install it again?

It'll keep everything. Just click 'archive and install' when installing.

Just do an Upgrade.
