Should I upgrade iMac mid 2007 4GB ram, 2ghz, 250gb HD (no SSD) from Snow Leopard to Yosemite? I tried searching for threads about this, but most people just discuss the idea. Curious to know if anyone has done this, if there is a better speed performance/better stability or is it better to just stick to Snow Leopard. Interested to hear what you guys think, thanks.

Is there any specific feature that 10.10 provides that you need or want?

If not, I'd stick with SL, given the age of the computer and amount of ram.

Not really, just use it mostly for web-browsing. But from what I've heard is the outlook is nicer, quicker safari speeds, and better security, so if it can provide those things then why not right? Lol but of course I know that iMac just made the cut off for the installation requirements as well. But curious to see any old users with positive experiences with it or if they ended up switching back to SL.
