I am trying to run a 32-bit app in SnowLeopard via VirtualBox 6.1 in macOS Mojave (MBP13 2017). SnowLeopard runs smoothly in VirtualBox but the display resolution was limited at 1024x768, which is too small to do anything efficiently. I wonder if anyone knows how to increase the virtual display size to something like 1400x900 or larger… Thanks in advance.

I successfully changed the VM display size to 1400x900 by the command lines below:

/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxManage setextradata SnowLeopard VBoxInternal2/EfiHorizontalResolution 1440
/Applications/VirtualBox.app/Contents/MacOS/VBoxManage setextradata SnowLeopard VBoxInternal2/EfiVerticalResolution 900
