I sincerely hope that it's announced tomorrow, but I really doubt it. The media preview will most likely occur today or in the next few days, now that 10.8.3 has been released. Realistically we shouldn't expect an announcement until March 21 onwards.

Yes but they have to send out the invites for the announcement event so that will probably be posted this week with the event/preview and dp1 released next week. Looking forward to see what they have in store this time around.

Likely there won't be an event, they'll do one-on-one demos to the press like last time.

this person could easily be trolling

It's more than one person. The media have been getting one-on-one demos in New York over the past couple of days. A week from now the public will hear about it. Right now everyone is under NDA.

This explanation makes sense, if it's true. I will not believe it unless backed up by a source, though.

Here's one, but I'm on my phone so it's hard to post a bunch. Actually, looking more closely, a lot of this seems to originate with one guy (follow the replies and RTs back).

Honestly, I don't like the way these guys cover it up once they get 1-on-1s with Apple.

Clever move by Apple, though.

IMHO 10.9 beta will first be shown at this year's WWDC since Sir Jony Ive is in charge of the new OS X, iOS look. Plus with the new redesign developers all in one place with the latest new OS X 10.9 beta release with an SDX beta along with it so the developers can adjust their applications for a Fall release
