Any hope of what? 5.0.1 works fine.

OP, the recommendation was to hold off on updating to 5.0.1 if you wanted to jailbreak. Although it seems there might be a jailbreak for 5.0 and 5.0.1, nothing is certain (not even the need to stay on 5.0). But just to be safe, I'm sticking with 5.0 for now.
