I got a 6 months free trial with EE and at first I thought, yeah, this is really cool - all the music I want to listen to for £10 a month - sounds really good!

But how wrong was I!!

It's LIMITED. So SO limited!!! If you're into just what's in the charts it's probably ok - but they haven't even got what I would expect to be extremely popular here in the UK.

- Where are the Ministry of Sound albums? They are legendary in the UK, yet there are none on Apple Music! (Apart from one very dated one)
- Where is RAM 25 (Ram Records 25 year anniversary album)??

Maybe it's better for American folk - but no offence, the whole world does not effing revolve around America and its tastes!!

I long for the days when Apple just did what's right and gave us what WE want rather than peddle the **** THEY want so they can just make more money. Yes, Steve Jobs was all about making money too, but he did it in tandem with what we wanted - for the most part. Apple of late is just turning into one big pile of poo.

I really hope they sort it out - AM could have been great, but when this free trial is over I will go back to just buying the albums I want and listening to my favourite online radio stations.

I'm just not onboard with streaming only for my music.

I don't want to have to worry about licensing situations and possibly having the contents of my collection constantly in flux as I never actually have a copy of anything.

I never stopped continuing to build my owned iTunes collection and don't plan to.

If they nuke iTunes, I'll just revert to playing files straight out of a folder with an MP3 player, ala 1998 all over again - lol

Where I live signal is quite patchy so steaming is of very limited value to me. Having it all on device is much more hassle free and probably cheaper in the long run (making more money is the whole point of the service, after all)

You don't have to stream btw - you can just add to library and a copy is downloaded - this is what I do (even though the stream is actually pretty good). But it's just so annoying being so limited.

Doesn't help with licensing issues/changes over time though.
