well i just got photoshop cs3 and I can't, for the life of me figure out how to add red to these Kobhens icons for leopard. The package came with a photoshop editor for them but I can't change the top lettering of kobhens to red. I'll try to post a picture of them if you don't know what they are but I can't figure out how to right now it won't allow me to attach any icons. Please help a photoshop newb.

go to image>mode and change it to RGB. The file was set up in greyscale.

hey well i just tried what you said and it didn't work. When I go to:

image>mode and change it to RGB it only adds another layer, so when the icon is done it looks 3D with white in the background and red on top. It won't let me delete the white words, that are in gray scale and then type the new word in red. When i erase the original lettering, the "mode" option in menu bar is grayed out and I am not able to choose it. Any ideas? Anyone?

I'm not 100% sure what you mean, if you could post the picture I'll help.
