The small Kindle is the right size to avert hand/arm fatigue. Will it come with a stand or a will the stand pop out from the back? I can't imagine watching a movie on it....the iphone is awkward enough to watch a show on

im pretty sure it has a built in stand. I couldnt imagine watching a movie on a train/plane holding it in my hands for more than 5 minutes.

It has to be a good solid stand tho with variable angles. Im not sure about holding the thing with my left hand and surfing the web with my right for any longer periods of time, it would have to be on the table with the right angle. I wouldnt be comfortable just having in flat on the table either.

Im not to sure about the ergonomics. But then again i said the same thing about magic mouse and now im freekin addicted to it. :)

So do we have to hold it with one hand to use it properly?

That's what she said.

Anyway, to stay on topic, that is waaaay too specific a question for something none of us have any idea on. Remember, this is the MacRumors:Forums, not MacFacts:Forums.

No, really, you raise a good question.

I've got the Archos 9, and it's too big to easily hold with one hand while using. It comes with an adjustable fold-out kickstand which works great if you've got it on a table or desk, but is useless on your lap.

I believe this issue will be a make-or-break issue for whatever Apple comes up with. If it's not easy to hold while using then people won't use it. If it's not easy to carry around without getting finger/hand prints on the screen then people won't want to carry it around. With a 10" screen it won't fit in any pocket and will be too big to carry clipped to your belt. Perhaps they'll include a nice wide shoulder strap you can clip onto it. :D
