Maybe I'm confused, but I saw a few sites reporting that Facebook would release an update with a complete overhaul on the mobile app...

It's July 30th... Did they just totally disregard it?

No, no,no, you just missed it. You see, by "revamped" they meant that your privacy would be invaded more, your information would be used more, and investors would be pissed more.

Easy mistake to make.;)

Invaded more? I was under the impression the public in general flocks to submit their activities and info willingly.

I think they're a bit preoccupied trying to get the stock price back up again.

Oh. They most definitely do, it's just that FB takes great strides to obscure their policies and practices as much as possible. IMHO.

Without a decent FB app they are sunk. I know hardly anyone who even tries to use the current one on an iPhone

So they just ruled out a gazillion users, dumbass zuk

There is no need for the other commentors to reply with what they did.
To answer your thread; Facebook postponed the date and have said it will launch anytime between now and the fall.

Are you sure? I'm fairly sure myself (can't source, read it a while back somewhere) that Facebook were under pressure to implement changes to the privacy options to make it more secure and customisable from the user's point of view.
