I found that I cannot get into Beats One unless I sign up for the Apple Music trial.

iTR streaming was free. So does this mean unless we keep the older iTR we can no longer have free streaming by Apple?

That's what the $9.99 is for?

The listings is here
https://www.apple.com/music/membership/

But I'm not quite sure about being able to SAVE radio stations like we were doing with iTR.

I've looked everywhere and cannot find my saved radio stations.

I'm using Beats One without starting my trial.
Oh really? Cool. Are you able to SAVE radio stations by artist or album like we did with iTR? Remember how we clicked the + sign to add a station?

I'm not sure if this is what you are referring to, but I just discovered that several of my "favorite" radio stations are now gone. I had an 80s Hits, 90s Hits, and Old School Rap station and they are all gone. It seems like they are trying to force people to upgrade to the new paid service. Oh well, I guess it's back to Pandora for me.

I asked about what you said on 2 other threads yesterday and never got an answer. I opened Beats One and NONE of my radio stations from iTR were there. I had built up tons of sick stations. Luckily I took screenshots of my iTR stations on my iMac anticipating something like this. So if I'm willing to pay for Beats One then I just have to search for them again.

But like you said it definitely is cause for jumping ship. How freekin' difficult was it for them to keep the stations in the cache?!?!?! Unbelievable.

I never got to use the "old" iTunes Radio here in Canada. What's the difference between that and the new Apple Music Radio?

Well thats because it wasn't available in Canada. I'm Canadian but living in Japan. I've always just used my fake American iTR account so I could use iTR. For me, iTR was very very good and free. All we did is click the + sign and it would create a station based on the artist we entered in. Yeah there were a few repeats here and there but I discovered a **** load of new artists via iTR i.e. SBTRKT , FKA Twigs etc. Waaaaay back like 3 years ago. I never even listened to the music on my HD.

Now we got this crap RIAA ****.

I don't have Apple Music, but both Beats 1 and the old Radio stations that I created from songs are available. I am a Match subscriber though, so perhaps that makes a difference.

Interesting. Thanks

I had to search the forum to find this thread...

Same! I only listened to 3-4 channels on iTunes Radio but I noticed that my favorites are gone. I suppose those channels are completely gone. "Roots Reggae, Chill Classical", and I can't remember the others. I'm not going to pay $10/month when I listen 1x/month for an hour or 2. Not sure why they would ditch it since each song gave info and the option to buy the complete album.
