Other So How Does Pre-Pre Order and Apple Card Work?

I decided to pre-pre order via Apple Card, which I didn't have. So I applied for the Apple Card during the pre-pre order process and got approved, and even the confirmation email about the phone being reserved and it's in my Account as a pre-order order, as the instructions said it would be. So far so good.

But regarding the Apple Card itself, I got no other information - credit limit, confirmation email about the actual card, it doesn't show up in Apple Wallet (though I had two "ads", one saying click here to add family members to your new Apple card and another that displayed benefits of "my new Apple Card".)

Not sure how this works.

Also, when you do confirm the order on Friday, it says to go to Account, where the pre-order is. Right now, it just has a "View" link and you can look at the pre-order. On launch day, does that View link change to something else, or do you go into "View", and there will be an order button showing up there? Apple's instructions don't give any details beyond where to find your pre-pre order. Time is of the essence, you know

In the Wallet app, if you click the little + to add a card, is the Apple Card an option? I seem to remember it being available in my Wallet app right after I was approved.

The other nice "little" benefit with using your Apple Card for monthly payments, is you get 3% Apple Cash back. Not a lot of money but still a nice little benefit.

It kept getting an error that the card number is incorrect when I tried to complete the preorder. I had to request a new number, still didn’t work! I just switched to using a completely different card. Very frustrating!

QUESTION- noticing, is it too late to order for store pick up Friday? keep seeing a message "can be available on 24th for store or curbside pickup" but wont let you actually select that option.. any ideas?

Yes, it’s too late at this point. Apple cuts off the in store pickup option a couple of days before release day (although, frankly, most or all of the available pickup slots were taken days ago anyway, especially at the busier stores). The pickup in store option will come back, but not in time for launch day. If you want a launch day phone you will probably need to go to the store and wait in line and hope, at this point.
