I've had mine since launch, and I've had to do a forced reboot about 5x. It's been in all kinds of different apps, so I'm not sure if it's just buggy applications or if it's the iPad itself.

So, how many times has yours frozen, and in what apps??

** EDIT **

make that 6x. just froze again using airvideo :(

No lock-ups here at all. I've had some apps quit unexpectedly on me, but that's it.

Some apps crash to springboard. Was worse in the first few days, especially the media apps. No total lockups, memory, or heat errors. I did have the 'clock' problem in the first few days but was never able to reproduce it again.

Had the USAToday problem, but that seems to be fixed. Now is the WiFi range could be fixed.

No lockups, ever. Some app crashes from non-optimized apps like Netflix and ABC. They seem to have fixed them though.

hmmm, maybe i'll do an exchange then. it usually seems to be during an app that does video. it's locked up while using the abc player, air player and one other app (can't think of what one).

No crashes, no lockups. Happy as hell. Replaces my notebook when I travel (probably going to spring for a 3G too).
